She was predeceased by: her parents, Glen Roscoe and Mable Matilda Koons (Huddleston); her husband Bill; her children, Dale, Dean and Diana Marie; and her siblings, Laura Cooper (Bill), Lucille Kelley (Gary), Maxine Cole (George), Virginia Cole (Vern), Glen Robert Koons, Jerry Koons (Marlene) and Dick Koons (Barb).
She is survived by: her daughter Deborah Detzler; her granddaughters, Nicole Detzler (Steve Friend) and Stephanie Detzler (Michael Scott); and her great grandchildren, Dana, Breanna, Dylan and Olivia Friend. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. St. Joseph Catholic Church (605 S Franklin St, St. Louis, MI 48880). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at the Riverside Cemetery (620 S Lincoln Ave, Alma, MI 48801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gratiot County Commission on Aging.
