He was predeceased by: his wife Patty Jo Gonzalez; his brother Severo Trevino; and his siblings-in-law, Celestino Guerrero and Darla Diaz. He is survived by: his parents, Anastasio Diaz and Juana Diaz (Sosa); his son Oscar Escamilla; his grandchildren, James Wright, Alexandra and Mateo Escamilla; and his siblings, Anastasia Guerrero, Mary Thalison (Joseph), Margaret Diaz (Walter Raub), Pablo Diaz, Lorenzo Diaz (Bergita), Mark Diaz (Jodie), Ada Thalison (Jerry), Homero Trevino (Carla), Christina Fortino (Thomas), Ernesto Diaz (Candace) and Jose Diaz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Nativity of the Lord Parish (605 S Franklin St, St. Louis, MI 48880). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
