He is survived by: his parents, Anastasio Diaz and Juana Diaz (Sosa); his son Oscar Escamilla; his grandchildren, James Wright, Alexandra and Mateo Escamilla; and his siblings, Anastasia Guerrero, Mary Thalison (Joseph), Margaret Diaz (Walter Raub), Pablo Diaz, Lorenzo Diaz (Bergita), Mark Diaz (Jodie), Ada Thalison (Jerry), Homero Trevino (Carla), Christina Fortino (Thomas), Ernesto Diaz (Candace) and Jose Diaz. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
