It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maynard Danks of Alma, Michigan, who passed away on May 5, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alton Danks and Pearl Danks (White); his stepfather Otto Yarnell; his siblings, Wesley Danks, Duane White and Geraldine Dancer; and his daughter-in-law Cindy Danks.
He is survived by: his wife Shalimar "Shirley" Barr; his children, Alton Danks (Mary) of Grand Rapids, Ricky Danks (Holly) of Plymouth and Tammy Halliwill of Midland; his grandchildren, David Danks (Rachel), Amy Bergener (Daniel), Nathan Danks, Christopher, Allison, Nicholas Danks, Michael Halliwill (Angie) and Kristy Chaffin (Zane); and his great grandchildren, Sophia, Norah, Jude Danks, Allie Danks, Michaela Halliwill and Emily Chaffin.
