She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Clare and Olive Clare (Chapman); her children, Patricia Sugar and John Sugar; and her siblings, Arden Clare, Lawrence Clare, Raymond Hultz, Richard Hultz and Florence Hadley.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Ken Sugar of Riverdale, Thomas Sugar (Deborah) of St. Louis, Nancy Burlingame (Robert) of Alma, Robert Sugar (Kathy) of Hemlock and Lawrence Sugar (Janet) of Wildwood, FL. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren; and 4 great great grandchildren; and a sister.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Carrie Knause Elementary School Library or Mid-Michigan Hospice.
