It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laurence Edward Elliott (Alma, Michigan), born in Portland, Maine, who passed away on March 21, 2022, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Raymond and Gertrude Louise Elliott (Laperriere). He is survived by: his pet Encore; his wife Sara Lynn Umbarger; his siblings, Katheryn Elliott of St. Johns, MI, Brian Elliott (Desiree) of Phoenix, AZ, Susan Czeiszperger (Joseph) of St. Louis, MI, Brenda Tutaan (Ivan) of Santa Rosa, CA and Geoff Elliott of Mt. Pleasant, MI; his parents-in-law, Delbert and Lori Umbarger; his sisters-in-law, Amanda Fuentes (Joel) and Katie Yourchock (Joe); and his nieces and nephews, Cameron, Jared, Erynn Kolhoff, Brandon, Avery, Autumn Elliott, Sarah, Emily, Katheryn Czeiszperger, Trevor, Eliza, Meghan Tutaan, James and Blake Yourchock. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
Larry's final trip was to his revered Ann Arbor (Go Blue!) where he gave the gift of life through organ donation. Memorials may be made to Dalis to the Rescue, 300 Valley Ave, Alma, MI 48801.
