She was predeceased by: her parents, Claremont "Joe" and Ruth Bellingar (Young); her husband John A. McGillis; her sons, Rodney and Ross McGillis; and her sisters, Josephine Kissane and Marilyn Mepham.
She is survived by: her sons, Ronald McGillis (Jill) and Randy McGillis (Linda); her daughters-in-law, Marcia and Kim McGillis; and her sister Irene Miller. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.
