It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glenna Ockert of Alma, Michigan, who passed away on September 18, 2021, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd A. Oberlin and Hazel B. Oberlin (Lee); her husband Leander Anthony Ockert; her daughter Betty; her daughter-in-law Shirley Ockert; her sister Clara Peterson; and her brother-in-law Bernard Ockert.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Ockert of Ionia, MI, Leo Ockert of Alma, MI, John and Michele Ockert of St. Louis, MI; her grandchildren, Amanda, Jared Warner of St. Louis, MI, Ryan, Cassie Ockert of Alma, MI, Nolan Ockert, Alura Nash of St. Louis, MI, Tammy, Paul Jr. and Jeff; her sister-in-law Maurine Ockert of Allegan; and her close friend Vivian Hey. She is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
