She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Shepherd and Genevieve Shepherd (Garrod); and her siblings-in-law, Margaret, Kenneth Hodges, Katherine and David Johnson.
She is survived by: her child Hospital Auxiliary; her sister Roma Williams (Jerome); her husband George; her daughters, Susan Deel (Bobby) and Laura Bamberg (John Blair); her grandchildren, Jordan Bamberg (Jen), Kelsey Daly (Steven), Michael Deel (Ashley Baxter) and Nicole Deel (Grant Reeves); and her great grandchildren, Alice, Charlotte, Dorothy and Eloise Bamberg. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America (mymsaa.org) or the Gratiot County Commission on Aging.
