She was predeceased by: her parents, Philip Sanger and Leona Sanger (Bailey); her husband Francis Raphael; her sons, Jeffery, William Hartwell and John Raphael; and her sister Phyllis Hilliker.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Raphael (Tess) of Ithaca, Margie Gasdia (Justin) of Columbia, SC, Teresa Hammond (Lonnie) of Vestaburg, Henry Raphael of Alma, Joseph Raphael of Alma, Michael Raphael (Kailyn) of Mt. Pleasant, Paul Raphael of Alma, Anthony Raphael of Alma and Jacinta Raphael of Boston, MA; and her stepsons, George Raphael and Frank Raphael (Cathy). She is also survived by 21 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
