With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest Frederick Nieman Jr. of Alma, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 5, 2024 at the age of 79. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Frederick Sr. and Beulah Arlene Nieman (Battley); his son Ted Zimmerman; his sisters, Shirley Sparks (Rex) and Barbara Netzley (Dennis); and his brother-in-law Ken Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce Haas Zimmerman; his daughters, Brenda Slaughter (Tim), Paula Seeley and Dianna Zimmerman-Jost (Brad); and his siblings, Irene Clark and Jim Nieman (Debbie). He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
