It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorotha Gruenberg of Alma, Michigan, born in Breckenridge, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Lee and Leona Mae Kaufman (Leonard); her husband James Robert Gruenberg; and her brother Richard Kaufman (Ruth). She is survived by: her children, David Gruenberg (Kim Eisenbeis) of Grand Blanc, Debra Kolar (Jim) of Castle Rock, CO and Michael Gruenberg (Janelle) of St. Louis; her grandchildren, Heather (Scott), Jason (Sarah), Christa (Jeremy), Kassi, Macy and McKayla; her great grandchildren, Olivia, Ethan, Alayna and Adam; and her sister Donna Slagel of Jupiter, FL. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Baptist Church, 120 Michigan Ave., St. Louis, MI 48880.
