We bid farewell to Dorene D. Lewis (Alma, Michigan), born in Rosebush, Michigan, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on November 14, 2024 at the age of 90. She was predeceased by: her husbands, Frank W. Chapman and Russell M. Lewis; her son Ronald J. Chapman; her stepdaughters, Pam Heisler and Michelle K. Gibson; and her brother Derry E. Dunn.
She is survived by: her daughter Cheryl C. Chapman; and her stepdaughter Janice Clements (Terry). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, and several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lux-Moody-Wolfel Funeral Home (531 N State St, Alma, MI 48801). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Alma United Methodist Church (501 Gratiot Ave, Alma, MI 48801).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to G.A.I.N. (Gratiot Animals in Need), Gratiot Commission on Aging-Meals on Wheels, Alma Highland Festival or the Alma College Music Department.
