He was predeceased by: his parents, Emery Shepardson and Violet Shepardson (Hanson); his son Rudolph Duane Shepardson; and his sister Betty Marie. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Ann Malone; his children, Edward Shepardson (Jane) of Alma, Shelton Norman Shepardson (Susan) of West Branch and Diann Lynn Richards (Michael) of Nashville, Michigan; and his stepchildren, Larry LeFever (Kathy) of Lakeview, Dan LeFever (Deb) of Stanton and Louise Taylor (Mark). He is also survived by his grandchildren and several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
