He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Delos MacLaren and Lena Belle MacLaren (Becker); his wife Sharon Lynn Anderson; his daughter-in-law Maria MacLaren; and his brother-in-law Brian Beckley.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry MacLaren of Houston, TX, Randall MacLaren of Midland, MI, Scott MacLaren (Linda Murgittroyd) of Merrill, MI and Maria Behnke (Brian) of Howell, MI; his stepchildren, Lorene Miller (Joel), Jeff Anderson (Jenny) and Mike Anderson (Judi); his grandchildren, Angela Jorae (Mike), Jay MacLaren (Ashley), Paul MacLaren (Winna), Zachary MacLaren (Elizabeth), Andrew MacLaren, Jacob Behnke, Tyler Peet (Lotte), Chesney Anderson and Jaylynn Anderson; and his sisters, Barbara Pharr (Richard) and Bonna Lou Beckley. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
