With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Potgeter of Allendale, Michigan, who passed away on August 20, 2022 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her husband Ken; her children, Michael Potgeter, Joel, Laura Potgeter and Kristine Gorney (Potgeter); her grandchildren, Greg, Rebekah Potgeter, Kurt Potgeter (Andrea Stephens), Steven, Jodi Potgeter, Jared, Heather Potgeter, Ryan Balcom, Anna, Daniel Hendricks, Haylea Gorney and Kendra Gorney; her siblings, Joe, Alice Carrell and Joanie Carrell; and her sister-in-law JoAnn Potgeter. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
