He was predeceased by: his son Jeffery Scharphorn; and his siblings, Minnie, Mary and Don. He is survived by: his son Niel Scharphorn (Nora); his friend Rose Scharphorn; his grandchildren, Jordan Scharphorn (Katy) and Nicole Scharphorn; his great grandchildren, Addison, Alice and Axton; and his siblings, Irene, Dave, Ralph, Jim, Carl, Jerry and Ken. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
