He was predeceased by: his siblings, William Arends, Anna Mae Woodard and Mary Jane Pearcy. He is survived by: his wife Carol Arends; his children, Brian, Carol Arends, Michelle DeLynne Arends, Angela and Ken Wise; his brothers, Donald (Pamela Arends), Steven (Katherine Arends) and Daniel (Lynne Arends); and his siblings-in-law, Nancy Arends, Howard Woodard and Timothy Pearcy. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
