She was predeceased by: her parents, John G. Bode and Mina Bode (Bolt); her in-laws, Henry and Abbie Vedders; her brother Carl Bode; and her grandchildren, Jacquelyn Vedders and Michael Vedders.
She is survived by: her husband Fred; her children, Scott (Deb Vedders), Jeff (Margarita Vedders), Anita (Tim Absher) and Allen (Sherri Vedders); her grandchildren, Holly, Jordan Ainsworth, Jeremy, Genni Vedders, Mark Vedders, Gabriela Vedders, James, Dr. Angela Absher, Amanda Absher, Andrew Absher, Amber, Gibson Nieuwenhuis, Trevor Vedders, Mason Vedders and Isaac Vedders; her great grandchildren, Emma, Joslyn, Adam, Aiden and Wesley; her brothers, Gord (Willie Bode), Don (Sandy Bode), Marv (Donna Bode) and Tim Bode; her siblings-in-law, Hazel Bode, Esther Bode and Jim (Regina Vedders); and her aunt Pearl Koetje. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
