He is survived by: his family John Astin; his wife Dana Peterson (Settlemyre); his daughters, Michelle Suykerbuyk (Theodore), Tina Clair and Naomi Parsaca; his sister Anne Guse (Bill); his grandchildren, Michael, Dakota, Veronica, Amber, Erick, Cody, Lynsey, Samantha, Nicholas and Tristen; his mother-in-law Sharon Settlemyre; his siblings-in-law, Mark Settlemyre and Nicole Rydahl (Thomas); his aunts and uncles, Warren Campbell (Mary), Gale Campbell (Marilyn), James Settlemyre (Joan), Jan Settlemyre (Connie), Janice Burch (Earl "Rusty") and Judith Rankin; his nieces and nephews, Mercedes Spencer (Scott), Emilee Phenix (Devin), Keristin Everingham (Ty), Adam Everingham and Daniel Gotwalt (Mariann); his great-niece Elise; his great-nephew Colton; his friends, Jake Phenix and Bryan Mulder; and his pets, Maxx McGhee, Bart Starr, Vince Lombardi and Jordy Nelson.
