He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Kelava and Magdalene Kelava; his brother Robert Kelava; and his brother-in-law Donald Butler. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl (Butler); his children, Michelle Copeland, Shane Copeland, Michael Kelava and Jennifer Kelava; his grandchildren, Anthony Ogg, Matthew Ogg, Kaleb Copeland, Olivia Copeland, Santana Samora, Chaya Samora, Alyssa Hilliker (Saul), Brittyn Samora, Sarita Samora, Spencer Kelava and Logan Kelava; his great grandchild Alice Hawley; his siblings-in-law, Betty Kelava, Carl Squires (Ruth), Harold Butler (Jeanne) and Norman Butler (Beth); and his aunt Evelyn Klukos. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the American Cancer Society.
