He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank DeWitt and Flora DeWitt; and his great grandchild Lindy Czarniak. He is survived by: his wife Judith DeWitt (Strickland); and his children, James DeWitt (Celeste), John DeWitt (Ann), JoAnn Purdy (James) and Jeff DeWitt (Melody). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; many in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
