He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Vruggink and Avis Vruggink; his sister Kathy Heinze; and his brother-in-law Larry Driesenga. He is survived by: his wife Denise Vruggink; his children, Jami (Tim Batdorff), Tracy (Marc Algra), Josh (Anne Vruggink) and Tara (Jason Kibbey); his grandchildren, Dylan, Meghan Speet, Melissa, Braden DeVree, Dakota, Brycen, Kaiden, Lucas Algra, Jacob, James Vruggink, Cheila and Peyton Kibbey; his siblings, MaryLou Driesenga and Ed Vruggink; his brother-in-law Bill Heinze; his nephews, Mike, Rick Driesenga and Jay Hoezee; and his niece Pam Driesenga. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
