He was predeceased by: his brothers, Doyle McKenney and Gary McKenny; his sisters-in-law, Marlene McKenney and Margie McKenney; and his nephew Andy McKenney.
He is survived by: his wife Bea; his children, Tom McKenney (Theresa) and Mindy Beck (Leonard); his grandchildren, Brett McKenney, Kelsey McKenney, Bella Beck and Gibson Beck; his brothers, Ken McKenney (Linda) and Randy McKenney; and his sisters-in-law, Norma McKenney, Doris Leatherman (Larry), Gloria Wilcome, Marty Behro (Andy), Linda Kryger, Susie Kryger and Karen Kuyers. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
