He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Meinema and Lorena Meinema (Elders); and his siblings, Joan Dalman (Bub) and Eugene "Fudge" Meinema. He is survived by: his wife Leanne; his children, Joel (Gina Meinema), Tom Meinema, Bill (Susan Meinema) and Kristen Meinema; his grandchildren, Keedan Hoezee, Grace Meinema and Nate Miller; and his great grandchild Stella Lapp.
