He was predeceased by: his parents, Jan Potyraj and Agnes Potyraj; his siblings, Lottie, Frank, Jan, John, Anthony, Mary and Joseph; his son-in-law John Hansen; and his nephew Benny.
He is survived by: his wife Chara Potyraj (Robbins); his children, Sue Brown, Sally Hansen, Kate, Mike Rodibaugh, Rob and Mary Kay Potyraj; his grandchildren, Jacob, Michele Smith, Kyle, Janae Hansen, Joel Hansen, Benjamin, Audrey Rodibaugh, Jack, Julie Rodibaugh, Sara Rodibaugh, John, Beth Debri, Josh, Claire Potyraj, Matt and Lizzie Potyraj; his sister Stella Homrich; and his sister-in-law Gaye (Mike Scott). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans or to St. Luke University Parish.
