He is survived by: his wife Betty Jean Staal; his children, Dale Staal (Karen) and Randy Staal (Susan); his grandchildren, Jeremiah Berger (Kelly), Josh Berger (Stacie), Ater Grondman (Scott), David Berger (Heather), Lauren and Lindsey Budnick; and his close friends, Doug and Deb Brink. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-grandchildren.
