He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Alspaugh and Iretta Alspaugh (Zigler); his daughter Bettina Anneliese Alspaugh; his brother Hollister Alspaugh; and his half-brothers, Hugh, Rob and Harold Griffen.
He is survived by: his wife Irmtraud Alspaugh; his sons, Dennis Alspaugh of Allen and Christopher Alspaugh of Allen; and his granddaughter Sarah Mae Alspaugh (Lane Pearson).
