He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Stemen and Madeline Stemen (Sanders); his daughter Melanie Collins (John); and his siblings, Eugene Stemen, Gary Stemen, Sr. and Delores Satterfield.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Stemen (Houtz); his children, Amy Stemen and Joshua Stemen (Sarah); his grandchildren, Cody Williams, Jasmine Bethel (Jesse), Jared Collins (Abbey), Allison Collins, Lillian Stemen and Nolan Stemen; and his brother-in-law John Houtz. He is also survived by three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Hampton Funeral Homes - Hillsdale (3380 W Carleton Rd, Hillsdale, MI 49242). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
