He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Margaret; his children, Patrick (Melinda), David (Christina), Eileen Smith (Ray) and Carol Krawczyk (Valentine); and his brother Maurice St (Marie). He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Valaire's life may be made to the Solanus Casey Center, 1780 Mount Elliott, Detroit, MI 48207.
