She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald W. Gilpatrick of Detroit; her parents, Howard Way and Maude Way (Lanich) of Dearborn, MI; and her sister Sandra Wilson (William). She is survived by: her children, Dennis Gilpatrick (Claudia) of Trenton, MI, Diane M. Suhey (Chris Berry) of Troy, MI, Donald A. Gilpatrick of Littleton, CO, Douglas B. Gilpatrick (Anne) of Atlanta, MI and David L. Gilpatrick (Robin) of White Lake, MI.; her grandchildren, Brian Gilpatrick (Kendra), Amy Gilpatrick, Eric Gilpatrick (Hannah), Christopher Suhey, Adriane Suhey, Katie Michaud (Adam), Molly Gilpatrick, Sydney Newman (Jordan), Adam Gilpatrick and Jared Gilpatrick; and her great grandchildren, Kayla Slater (Brandon), Hannah Gilpatrick, Chase McLane, Joshua Mick, Ari Mick, Maya Newman and Zander Newman. She is also survived by her loving family, friends and neighbors.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101).
