He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose S. Romo and Maria Romo; his wife Antonia Romo; and his sister Chonita. He is survived by: his children, Joe Romo (Deborah), Debbie Semak, Steve Romo (Kristie) and Lisa Schlacht; his siblings, Sara and Timo; his grandchildren, Joe (Kelly), Lauren, Nicole (Jason), Jennifer (Josh), Andrea, Tyler, Dylan, Makenzie, Devin, Jacob (Brittany) and Zach; and his great grandchildren, Maya, Abby, Zander, Olivia, Dean, Everleigh, Emma, Alex, Eli, Carmen, Logan, Henry and Rylie.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
