He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Carol; his children, James Shaw (Elizabeth) and Sarah Eckel (Jason); his sister Janet Montgomery (James); and his grandchildren, Benjamin, Rylan, Callie, Carly (Aaron) and Mara (Cooper).
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weise Funeral Home (7210 Park Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101). A prayer was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:00 AM at the St. Frances Cabrini Church (9000 Laurence Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101).
