He was predeceased by: his spouse Jessie Ruth; his parents, James Marion Dodd and Nellie G. Barker; and his brothers, Roland Dodd (Clara) and Roosevelt Wallace.
He is survived by: his children, James Dodd (Doris), Glenda Stafford and Eileen Wheeler (Jeff); his grandchildren, Gayle Dodd, Joseph Dodd, Collin Flynn (Miranda) and Brett Wheeler; his great grandchildren, Alanis Dodd and McKinley Flynn; and his sister Jacqueline Soper (late Barry).
