Jessika Wickenheiser wrote a sympathy message

“Hey Grandpa, I'm sure I'm going to miss you a whole bunch! Talks with you on the porch at the property were the best! You always had great advice and always had something funny to say. It made me smile anytime I would see you in your chair reading your western novel. Not sure who is going to make the German potato salad now, or be concerned when I reach for another beer at a holiday family gathering. (ha) I promise always to try to keep moving. Love you! Love your granddaughter Jessie”
