He was predeceased by: his grandsons, Christopher and Alex; his mother Fern; and his brother Neil. He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Laura Hitchcock, Cheryl Walters and Judd Gardner (Lisa); and his grandchildren, Randy (Danielle), Amber, Brittany (Sean), Lauren, Daniel, Courtney, Kayla, Tommy and Alyssa.

Memorial contributions to honor Charles' life may be made to the family and will be forwarded to a charity to be determined.
