He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Thomas and Leva Thomas (Frederick); his former wife Caryal Thomas (Gains); his son Jimmy Thomas; and his brother Charles William Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Christine Thomas (Markoski); his children, Robert Lee Thomas, Jr. (Christina), Brenda Andrews (Curtis), Michelle Thomas (Donna), Brad Brenner (Monique) and Brenda Brenner (Talia Capelj); his siblings, James Thomas (Phyllis), Earleen Barber (John) and Lyle Thomas (Mona); his grandchildren, Jack Lautenschleger, Amber VanHouten, Sarah Lautenschleger, Shay Thomas, Kaden Thomas, Elise Mack, Rebecca Mack, Jenna Brenner, Taylor Brenner and Brittany Coburn; and his great grandchildren, Zack, Emma, Lexie, Logan, Mason, Ethan, Ariana-Janaea, Kenna, Voltar, Shay, Jr, Mila and Rylee. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
