He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Oakley and Gladys Oakley (Cox); his son David P. Oakley; and his brother Harry Oakley. He is survived by: his wife Janet Oakley (Jessie); his children, Karen E. Oakley, Stevan R. Oakley and Darrell R. Oakley; his grandchildren, Jeff, Alex, Theresa and Kara; his great grandchildren, Jaxon, Lyla and Kallan; his sisters, Alice Waskowitz and Gail Main; and his brother-in-law Dale Jessie.
