He was predeceased by: his parents, Otis Hunt and Gracie Hunt (Beard); and his brother Kenneth Hunt. He is survived by: his children, A. Jeff Hunt (Chantell) and Andrea Jones (Chris); his grandchildren, Tyler Hunt, Marley Ness and Brittany Potts; his great grandchildren, Leah Swartz and Oliver Potts; his close friend Margie Bradley; his sister-in-law Janice Hunt Tuffelmire; and his nephew Ryan Hunt.

Memorial donations may be made in Owen's name to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn Street, Allegan, Michigan 49010.
