With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Nancy Lee Smalla of Allegan, Michigan, who passed away on December 20, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alton Brownell and Mary Elizabeth Gorter (Gant); and her stepparents, Miriam Brownell and Hans Gorter. She is survived by: her husband Roger Smalla; her children, Liz Sulzener (Gary) and Jodie Beardsley (Todd); her siblings, Alton Brownell (Lois) and Rosemary Moose; her grandchildren, Chelsey Curry, Jennifer Waychoff (John), Ryan Sulzener (Nadine), Logan Beardsley and Austin Beardsley; and her great grandchildren, Gunner, Anniston, Lyla, Keni and Ayden. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
