He is survived by: his wife Artis M. Hayes; his children, Andre R. Hayes of Chicago and Valerie A. Thomas of St. John, Indiana; his siblings, Beatrice Lago of Magnolia, Glynis Hall of San Antonio, Texas, Leon Hayes of Magnolia, Emanuel (Betty) and Carter of Mobile, Alabama; his grandchildren, Artesha (Kevin), Andre Hayes, Jr., Shanika Cook (Corey), Kayla Thomas, Savannah Glover and Tayceon Parkman; and his great grandchildren, Jazye Cook, Lilah Bowers, Aniyah Hayes, Sarai and Lawson Bowers. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
