He is survived by: his wife Joyce Miles (Pittner); his children, Anne Miles Shutes (Richard), Steven David Miles (Kathleen) and John Patrick Miles (Leslie); his grandchildren, Jessica, Martin, Meghan and Harlan Miles; and his sisters-in-law, Doreen Miles and Mary Wason. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
