He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Harriet Sanborn Maltby and LeRoy Maltby, Jr.; his wife Darla Maltby; his son Richard Maltby (Kay); his stepsister Rebecca Hill (Ken); his stepchildren, Bobbi Love (Brandon), Kerri DeJonge (Jodi) and Jimmy DeJonge (Sarah); and his pet Stella. He was also cherished by 5 grandchildren; one great grandchild.
