She was predeceased by: her parents, John VanSweden and Elma VanSweden (Beacham); and her husband Ronald Moerman. She is survived by: her children, Michelle Meert (Steven) of Allegan, Laura Garza (Esteban "Steve") of Ohio and John Moerman (Amy Showerman) of Gobles; and her grandchildren, Stephanie, Samantha, Abigail, Taylor, Haven and Zachary.
