It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Charles Hotchkiss (Allegan, Michigan), born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on August 30, 2022, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Hotchkiss and Pauline Hotchkiss (Seyler); and his brother Bill. He is survived by: his wife Peggy (Peggy); his daughters, Dawn Couchman (Chris) and Lesa Hotchkiss (Charles Scott); his grandchildren, Kathryne Luyk (Cliff Haas), Christopher Luyk (Simone Hecht), Elizabeth Luyk and Jacob Durocher (Maddy Katsma); his sisters, Paula Brown (Bill) and Fran Figurski (Brian); his siblings-in-law, Neil, Lynn, Don, Judy, Allen, Jan, Rick and Robin Williams; and his close friends, Andy Durocher, Terry Cooper and Joe Gomez. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
