John Dewhurst-Walker Obituary

Johnathon Andrew "Andy" Dewhurst-Walker was born on June 14, 1963. He passed away unexpectedly in the early morning hours of March 26, 2019. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, best friend and love of his life, Dianne "Sue" Dewhurst-Walker. He was preceded in death by Mama Killaz and Bruno, his beloved rottweilers; as well as his grandson, Landon Coykendall.

John will also be deeply missed by his sons, Robert Coykendall, III and Ian Coykendall and wife Amanda; grandsons, Brantley and Greyson Coykendall; mother, Marion "Mum" Penton and husband Robert; father, John Dewhurst-Walker and wife Lisa; sister, Cindy Dewhurst-Walker and fiancé Rick Wallace; niece Jessica Cooley; nephew, John Walker Stewart; sister, Becky Lord and husband Doug; niece, Heather Lord; nephew, Heath Lord; brother, Martin Dewhurst-Walker; nieces, Kate Reid and Amanda Timberman; brother, Will Dewhurst-Walker; brother, AJ Dewhurst-Walker; niece, Elizabeth; nephews, Alistair Jr., Miles, Rip; his H & H Painting family; and many, many friends.

John served in the United States Navy. He was on the USS America CVA/CV-66 from 1981 to 1983. He was a member of the Michigan Sheriff's Association. John traveled the world. He was born in a British Military Hospital in Kamunting, Malaya. John was kind, funny and had the biggest heart; there was nothing he wouldn't do for you.

John was a private man who never talked ill about his family. He always found the good in everyone. Dianne would always say to him "I'm gonna go give them Hell" and John would say "No! You go give them Heaven". John believed in a higher power than himself. He was a very spiritual person. Everyone who knew him had their own unique relationship with him.

John was a good provider for his family. He always tried so hard to please them, and he did. Memories are powerful!! We all have that with John. Dianne says she believes and knows that he was the strongest man she will ever know in her lifetime. He was her rock and taught her so much. Don't let people push you around, stand up for yourself.

If you have people from family, friends, co-workers, or someone you just met say kind words about you in the end of your life, you are the richest of all. So, Johnathon Andrew Dewhurst-Walker, you are loaded!! A Celebration of John's Life will be held on June 14, 2019 at his home, which he called his castle and it will always be, starting at noon.

Please stop by that day family, friends or the person he gave his last dollar to, because that was John. Memorial donations may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
