He was predeceased by: his former wife Patricia Ann; his parents, Herm Lodenstein and Lilly Lodenstein; and his siblings, Calvin, Carl, Marian and Paul.
He is survived by: his wife Joann; his children, Shelly (Bruce Brenner), Kim (John Langlois), Rod (Lisa Lodenstein) and Missy (Garry Goodman); and his siblings, Ardis Doezema, Pearl Bronkhorst, Leon, David and Clare Lodenstein. He is also survived by 29 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Wings of Hope Hospice (530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010) or Hopkins Community Church (2142 128th Ave, Hopkins, MI 49328), where Howard was a member.
