He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Draney and Mable Draney (Nestor); his son Michael Draney; and his sister Carole. He is survived by: his wife Georgia Ann; his children, Christopher Draney (Marina) of Lansing, MI, Cindy Gaddis (Wes) of Lexington, NC and Tammy Oetman (Donnie) of Allegan, MI; his grandchildren, Eric, Abby, Eli, Adam, Alex, William, Joseph Gaddis, Shelly, Steven Delong, Hannah, Trevor Oetman, Andreas Jenrich (Amanda), Jeff Draney (Codi), Samantha McClellan (John), Sebastian and Tristan Draney; his brothers, Elwyn Draney (Carolyn) and Dale Draney (Lorie); and his pets, Ozzie and Patches. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
