He was predeceased by: his parents, Junior Schout and Genevieve Schout (Essenburg); and his brothers-in-law, Roger Shumaker, John Blystra, Bob Veldheer and Jeff Greenwood.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Schout; his son Jason Schout (Jailyn); his grandchildren, Jensen and Jade; his sisters, Gloria Shumaker, Nancy Klinger (Vern), Barb Blystra, Mary Schout and Joyce Berghorst (Bill); and his brother-in-law Dave Greenwood (Karin).
The family requests that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made to a favorite charity in George's name.
