He was predeceased by: his parents, Max Neils and Marie Neils; his son Paul Frederick; his brother Max, Jr.; his sister-in-law Irmie; his sister Margaret; and his brother-in-law Jim.
He is survived by: his wife Sally; his sons, Eric Neils (Pauline) and Thomas Neils (Stephanie Schaertel); his daughter-in-law Peggy Neils; his grandchildren, Colin (Jackie), Andrew (Sherry), Ruth (Nicholas) and Matthew; and his great grandchildren, Vivian and Xander.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. John Lutheran Church (1764 34th St, Allegan, MI 49010). A memorial service was held on Saturday, August 31st 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
