He was loved and cherished by many people including: his son Frank; his wife Carolyn; his children, Neil, Amie and Emily; his sons-in-law, Matt and Cortney; his grandchildren, Julianna, Benjamin, Ayden and William; his sister Anne; his former wife Julie; and his parents, Chuck Murphy and Rose Murphy.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Battle Creek VA Medical Center.
